During the VIII Forum of Inter-regional Cooperation of Kazakhstan and Russia with participation of the national leaders, which was held in Astana (Kazakhstan) on October 4, 2016, a Partnership Agreement between JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk (JSC ZiO), JSC National Company Kazakhstan Engineering, and JSC "Petropavlovsk Plant of Heavy Machine Building" (JSC PZTM) has been signed for implementation of joint projects of fabrication of energy equipment and machinery for other purposes, as well as joint R&D
Such partnership opens new vistas for ZiO Group of Companies to take part in new large projects of construction, modernization and rehabilitation of power generations not merely in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, but also in countries of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Also, JSC ZiO and JSC PZTM have signed publically a contract in the fields of «Kyzylzhar Invest 2016» Forum on October 5, 2016 in Petropavlovsk. This contract will allow for the Parties to reinforce their market positions, localize fabrication of some energy equipment in the Republic of Kazakhstan, provide higher incomes, reduce logistic expenditures, improve employment opportunities, and gain access to new international markets.
