Within the framework of the tour, the heads of ZiO”s design departments made presentations to MPEI students. Future boiler builders were introduced to the specifics of design work, paying special attention to design, 3d modeling and the main processes occurring in boilers.

The guests of ZiO were able not only to gain new theoretical knowledge, but also to visit the production site of KZMK JSC, which is part of the ZiO Group. Here the students viewed the production process starting from obtaining a drawing to the finished product along the entire technological chain, watched the work of operators in the areas of machining, cutting, bending and welding of metal, learned about quality control methods.

At the end of the tour, the students talked with the leaders of ZiO Group: they received answers to their questions, and also discussed the possibility of internships at the Group's enterprises and prospects for further employment.

JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk has a long-term cooperation with the National Research University "Moscow Power Engineering Institute" within the framework of the "School - University - Plant" project. The goal of the project is to popularize engineering specialties among the younger generation, pre-professional training of schoolchildren for a conscious choice of the profession of power engineering, as well as attracting young and promising specialists from among the graduates of a specialized university to the Group's enterprises.
