Group of Companies Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk pursues an active investment policy aimed at innovative development of new production lines, purchase of the state-of-the-art equipment and modernization of existing equipment in order to comply with the world achievements of modern technologies and customer standards for manufacture of high-quality products
From June 17 to June 25, a delegation of ZiO specialists made a visit to USA, the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, to conduct pre-shipment tests of the purchased equipment for bimetallic tube finning line at the supplier's plant, the American company McELROY. This machine is finning tubes by winding an aluminum strip onto a steel pipe. This technology will allow ZiO Group of Companies to establish a modern production of bimetallic finned tubes required for fabrication of innovative high-tech products - air cooling units and dry cooling towers of its own design, carried out within the framework of the government's import substitution program.
The tests were found to be successful. The machine is ready for shipment to Russia to the manufacturing site of Stroytekhnika JSC of the Group of Companies Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk. Installation and commissioning is planned for early September 2018.
The American company McELROY is the world leader in production of premium equipment for finning metal pipes and welding plastic pipes. The company representatives expressed interest in further continuing close cooperation with ZiO Group of Companies.
