The planned date for the commissioning of power unit No. 3 into the general grid is the 1st quarter of 2020.

In the period from 2016 to 2019, Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk (hereinafter referred to as ZiO) timely delivered boiler and auxiliary equipment for the third power unit of Berezovskaya GRES with a total weight of 16126 tons, including about 2,419 tons of oversized equipment. More than 1,500 different vehicles, including more than 200 units of specialized rolling stock for transportation of oversized cargo, were used to carry out the delivery of equipment to the "assembly workshop", that was timely organized by the customer (PJSC Unipro) at the power plant site and equipped with all the necessary resources.

Overall, more than 1,500 production workers and engineers were involved in performance of the contract.

The P-67 boiler, manufactured by Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk, has a T-shape arrangement, suspended type, has a steam capacity of 2650 tons of steam per hour and is designed for firing Berezovsky brown coals of Kansko-Achinsky field in combination with an 800 MW turbine. At the same time, the height of the suspended boiler reaches 106 m.

ZiO holds a leading position in the Russian market of boiler units. This year the factory has crossed the 100-years mark. Today it is a vertically integrated holding capable of offering the entire cycle of work - from preliminary engineering studies to manufacturing, supply, installation, acceptance tests of boiler island equipment or construction of turnkey power facilities.
