The project was carried out within the framework of an agreement with JSC TEK Mosenergo for construction of Amurskaya TPP. A new thermal power plant with a capacity of 160 MW is being built to meet the energy demand of Amur Gas Processing Plant, which is scheduled to be commissioned in 2025.

Amur GPP will become the largest natural gas processing plant in Russia and one of the largest in the world. The plant will be an important link in technological chain of future gas supplies to China via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
