JSC ZiO and JSC Samruk-Energo signed a memorandum of cooperation
During the meeting between the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZiO JSC Artem Zuev and the Chairman of the Board of Samruk-Energy JSC Kairat Maksutov, strategic agreements were reached on joint participation in implementation of energy projects for facilities in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The implementation of projects is aimed at implementing the Concept for development of energy saving and increasing energy efficiency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023 - 2029, approved by Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 28, 2023 No. 264, the Concept for development of the electric power sector of the Republic of Kazakhstan until 2035, as well as the plan of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic Kazakhstan, providing for introduction of 26 GW of new generating capacities starting from January 16, 2024.

ZiO is a recognized and authoritative developer and supplier of boiler equipment for firing complex fuels, in particular: high-ash hard Ekibastuz and Karaganda coals. Over the past 15 years alone, boilers of different capacities have been supplied for burning the above coals for Almaatinskaya CHPP-2, TPP of EEC JSC (Aksu), Ekibastuz GRES-1, Karaganda CHPP-2, CHPP-PVS (Temirtau), CHPP SSGPO.
