Under the agreement with PJSC RusHydro, ZiO Group of Companies will supply Khabarovsk CHPP-4 with two sets of heat-recovery boilers for operation as part of combined cycle power units. The supply is carried out within the framework of the investment project "Construction of Khabarovsk CHPP-4 with off-site infrastructure".
The new modern CHPP will replace the already worn-out Khabarovsk CHPP-1, commissioned in 1954, which will ensure reliable power and heat supply to consumers.
Instead of coal, the new power plant will use natural gas as fuel, which will have a positive impact on the environmental situation in the region: emissions of ash and sulfur oxides into the atmosphere will be eliminated, the need to arrange ash dumps will disappear, emissions of nitrogen and carbon oxides will be reduced several times.
To date, in accordance with the contract terms, ZiO Group of Companies has begun shipping equipment for the first heat-recovery boiler: the boiler frame, condensate gas heater units.
ZiO Group of Companies (the ultimate beneficiary is JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk) is a vertically integrated group of power engineering enterprises that performs a full cycle of works from a feasibility study, engineering, manufacture to the construction of turnkey facilities, including commissioning and maintenance service.
