During the official visit to JSC Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk and a subsidiary production enterprise JSC Kashirsky Plant of Metal Structures and Boiler Building, on March 29, 2021, a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic with the assistance of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation Gulnara-Clara Samat and with the active participation of Almambet Nasyrkanovich Shykmamatov, Director of the State Agency for Promotion and Protection of Investments under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kyrgyz Republic, held negotiations with the management of ZiO Group of Companies headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZiO JSC Mr. KorobovskyNikolai Vladimirovich and General Director of ZiO JSC Mr. Danilenko Viktor Georgievich.

Based on the negotiation results, Mr. N. Korobovsky and Mr. A. Shykmamatov signed a protocol of the meeting and a memorandum of mutually beneficial cooperation in order to promote projects for construction of thermal power plants at the Kara-Keche and Bel-Alma coal deposits area in the Kyrgyz Republic (5 power units of 330 MW each), modernization of operating TPPs (TPP in Bishkek town and Osh township), development of small hydropower plants, renewable energy sources (combined-cycle plants), as well as the construction of combined cycle gas turbine units (CCGT). In accordance with the agreements, ZiO Group of Companies, on the basis of the draft terms of reference, will develop comprehensive proposals for the construction of TPPs, and will also submit proposals for cooperation in the field of agriculture in terms of creating greenhouses and organizing logistics centers in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
