On April 9, all necessary tests were completed at the power unit No. 3 of Berezovskaya GRES, which confirmed operation of the unit with maximum available capacity of 800 MW with power output into Unified Energy System of Russia. The tests confirmed the readiness of the unit for commercial operation.

Thus, the restoration of the power unit No. 3 of Berezovskaya GRES after the fire that occurred in 2016 has been completed.

In the period from 2016 to 2021, all enterprises of ZiO Group of Companies were involved in the restoration of the third power unit of BGRES. Machine-Building Factory of Podolsk (ZiO) has timely delivered the equipment of boiler components and boiler-auxiliary equipment with a total weight of more than 14,000 tons. The specialists of Krasnoyarsk boiler-building plant successfully completed the key thermal and mechanical works on dismantling / installing the equipment of the 3rd power unit of BGRES. ENNOVA Engineering company performed necessary inspections of the damaged equipment, developed solutions for fastening and restoration of the frame, performed design works for restoration of the building and the boiler, performed a full range of commissioning works as the main commissioning company.

Each of the three power units of Berezovskaya GRES includes P-67 boiler produced by Machine-building factory of Podolsk with T-shaped arrangement, of suspended type, with steam capacity of 2,650 tons of steam per hour, designed to operate on Berezovsky brown coals of Kansko-Achinsk coal field in combination with 800 MW turbine. The height of suspended boiler reaches 106 m.
